Welcome to the on-line home of Jim Scully - composer, performer and educator living in Bakersfield, California.  I have an eclectic style and teach a variety of classes in the sub-fields of contemporary classical music, jazz studies and electronic/electroacoustic music.

I am a full-time lecturer at CSU Bakersfield and Director of the CSU Bakersfield Guitar Ensemble and Director of Small Jazz Ensembles.
