Are you looking to play music and enjoy it within a group roughly as large as a group of people you find in a typical bingo room? I play in the rhythm section at the Bakersfield Jazz Workshop and occasionally lead the group on a tune or two. A lot of the best players in town come and share music at this event. It is free and a lot of fun.

As part of my job at CSU Bakersfield I direct the CSUB Guitar Ensemble, multiple Small Jazz Ensembles and oversee a yearly concert featuring music composed by students at CSU Bakersfield and Bakersfield College. Additionally, I bring in guest artists and guest lecturers from time to time. I will update this space frequently to reflect what is happening at CSUB.
