My compositional style is eclectic, but my sound is firmly rooted in jazz. As a child of the late 20th century, I am - of course - greatly influenced by various other musics, including rock, pop, electronic and contemporary classical.

NEWS...
* My piece, Bouncing About, was recorded on July 12 in Prague, Czech Republic, by PARMA Recordings. They plan to release the song on a compilation CD of contemporary chamber music in 2011.
* I received a Subito grant for $1,500 through American Composers Forum to travel to Boston to record some of my most recent compositions. On the agenda is a recording of Duplicitous Encounter with Rachel Arnold and Ashley Addington and Sonata for Guitar with Dr. Keith Calmes. The recordings will take place on August 6 and 7 at Fraser Recording Studio and Futura Recording Studio in Boston. Can't wait to check these great spaces out.
* Two of my pieces - Hop, Skip and Jump (solo clarinet) and Duality in Time (cello and flute) were selected to be presented at the College Music Society National Conference in Minneapolis in late September, 2010. Go to my works page to hear excerpts...
